Growin Growers

The Growing Growers Farmers Market is the oldest market in Hidalgo County (opened 2008) and it is open every Saturday, year round, from 9:00 until noon in Firemens Park, 201 First Street, McAllen. They have a wide variety of locally grown vegetables, herbs, and fruits, as well as, 100% certified grass-fed beef, spring lamb, Gulf caught shrimp, eggs, raw honey, jams and jellies, locally made dark chocolate and fresh baked goods. Goats milk soap and shampoo, along with natural skin care products, are also available, as well as fruit trees, potted herbs, and butterfly plants.
