Volunteers

There is no “I” in Team, but we are sure glad there is “U” in our Volunteers!!

Description

We love to share what we’ve learned and gain new insights. However this is a working ranch with lots of work to do. Come on time and be prepared to work and learn.

Although we like to have fun at GHR, the volunteer program is NOT a “behind the scenes tour” where you’re watching us work. Be aware our volunteers are here to gain hands-on experience.

More Information

The time of day we start a given project and the hours to complete it will vary depending on the work to be done.

Appropriate attire for the project, orientation, anything you need to bring with you etc. will be discussed when you schedule your time.

We love having kids around; even our 7 yr. old grandson works the ranch right alongside us. However, younger volunteers need proper supervision and some projects are simply not appropriate to them. We can sometimes accommodate groups with various ages, a whole family, or minors that want to volunteer. Call us to see what is available.
