The Schalk Family

Howdy! We are Mary and Brian Schalk. A veteran-owned business, Grace Heritage Ranch was established in 2010 and named after the Christian concept of God’s amazing grace and in memory of our first donkey named God’s Grace. Originally from Wisconsin, we moved to the San Antonio area after our marriage in 1985. After eight years of Air Force service and a few years of living in Nevada, Brian gathered up his wife, daughter, and three sons and settled in South Texas in 1996. The family has since then increased to include two more sons, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and a 4 grandchildren!
